This is my first ECE-RJ conference. What can I expect?
ECE-RJ stands out as the premier conference for networking, learning, and support tailored specifically for Jewish Early Childhood Educators. Not only will you gain access to top-tier educational opportunities directly aligned with your professional needs, but you’ll also have the chance to connect with peers who share your experiences and understand the challenges you face.
As a first-time attendee, you’ll be paired with a “Conference Buddy” who will serve as your guide, helping you make the most of your time at the conference. Additionally, you’ll be warmly welcomed to a First Timer Breakfast, designed to help you feel at home and kick off the conference experience with ease.
Membership in ECE-RJ is not required to attend the conference.
What do the registration fees include?
Your registration includes all conference programming from 4:00 PM PT on Wednesday, January 20, through 2:00 PM PT Saturday, January 23. It also includes: 3 meals, coffee, and snack breaks.
Is there financial assistance?
For individuals whose communities do not subsidize their registration, ECE-RJ offers scholarships to offset the cost of conference registration. Please fill out the ECE-RJ Scholarship Form before registering.
What methods of payment do you accept?
All registrations must be paid by credit card during registration.
What is the Cancellation Policy?
The intent to withdraw must be completed through your confirmation email link. To transfer registration to another person (before 1/7/2027), please contact Tricia Ginis, Chief Executive Officer, ECE-RJ.
- Withdrawal on or before 10/30/26 results in a refund of the full registration fee less an 18% Administrative Fee.
- Withdrawal between 10/31/2026 and 12/11/26 results in a 50% refund of the conference registration fee.
- NO REFUNDS will be issued after 12/11/2026.
Can I bring a Guest?
Guests of registered attendees may purchase the full meal package for $700, which includes 3 meals and 2 coffee/snack breaks.

When should I plan to arrive and depart?
The event begins on Wednesday at approximately 4 pm and ends on Saturday by 2:00 pm PT after a closing program. You’ll want to arrive in Seattle on Wednesday morning or midday and plan to depart after 3:30 pm PT on Saturday.
If you are planning to attend the ECE-RJ Pre-Conference Day of Learning, you will want to arrive on Tuesday, January 20th, as programming begins at 8 am on Wednesday, January 21.
A preliminary schedule of events will be published on the conference website when registration opens in June. The schedule page will be updated regularly to provide the most up-to-date information as the conference planning team continues to confirm presenters and finalize the event details.
How far away from the airport is the hotel?
Seattle–Tacoma International Airport is approximately 15 miles from the hotel. The hotel does not offer shuttle service; however, a Link Light Rail stop is located just 2 blocks away. Taxis and rideshares are also available.
