Shabbat At Yom Chadash

Friday Night:

We are excited to offer a choice between one of three Friday evening Shabbat experiences that parallel the three intensive experiences, offering participants the ability to broaden and/or deepen their learning. Each experience will offer attendees the ability to participate in worship and Shabbat dinner. 

• BJBE – B’nai Jehoshua Beth Elohim Deerfield, IL
  The visit to BJBE will include a tour of the early childhood center and highlight how the vision of BJBE’s institutional leaders comes alive in their setting. Following the tour, we will join BJBE for P’nai Shabbat, a musical service in the round.  
• Congregation Sukkat Shalom Wilmette, IL
  Shabbat Services at Sukkat Shalom will be designed to illustrate family engagement, highlighting Sukkat Shalom’s unique family education program and intimate setting.
• Temple Jeremiah Northfield, IL.
  Temple Jeremiah will offer a traditional Reform Shabbat experience with special Israel educator Shalom Orzach as the featured speaker.

Saturday Morning:

Saturday morning at the hotel will include opportunities for participants to select their own ritual and reflection paths, culminating in a joyous communal Torah experience.
