About Speaker
Director of BJBE Early Childhood Program at the Chava Center in Deerfield, Illinois brings over 30 years of experience working with Jewish families and young children. She has a Bachelor’s in Psychology, a Master’s in Social Work, and a Master’s in Jewish Educational Leadership from HUC-JIR. A lifelong learner, she has been actively involved in professional development, having presented locally and nationally on a variety of topics including effective communication, collaboration, and best practices in early childhood Locally, she has been a participant in the Jewish Early Childhood Director’s Council and has been integral to the founding of the Early Childhood Educators of Deerfield Schools – a collaborative of early childhood programs that feed into the public school system. Having served as chairperson of the Volunteer Engagement Commission for the Village of Deerfield for over a decade, she is now the Chairperson of the Community Relations Commission.
