About Speaker
Tamara R. Cohen is a rabbi, educator, writer, and activist, working towards more just, inclusive, and liberatory practices, rituals and community. She is Chief Program Officer for Moving Traditions where she has initiated new programs focused on LGBTQ inclusion and racial justice. She serves on the Tikkun Olam Commission for Reconstructing Judaism and on the board of Women’s March, Inc. and was on the racial justice task force at her synagogue. A graduate of the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College, Sarah Lawrence and Barnard, she lives in Philadelphia with her partner Gwynn Kessler and their children Tobias and Kliel.
